How to Create a Firebase Project & Add MageNative as Member

For features like App Analytics and Push Notifications to work seamlessly with your mobile app, a Firebase project is much needed. Here are simple step-by-step instructions of How to Create a Firebase Project and Add Members in it.

Step 1: Setting Up Your Firebase Project

• First, open your web browser and go to Firebase Console. If you have a Google account, just sign in. If you don’t have a Google account, create a new Google account by clicking on “Create account.”
• Once you’re signed in, click “Get started with a Firebase project” on the welcome screen.
• Now name your project. You may choose a project name aligned with your store or app (for example: “MyAppStore”).
• Enter the project name, accept the terms, check the boxes, and click continue.
• Firebase will ask if you wish to use Google Analytics for your project. Simply disable the button, if you do not need it now. If you do, then you must provide your Google Analytics account.
• After making your choice, just click on continue.
• Select Location, Accept the terms and Click on Create Project button.
• Firebase takes some time to set up your project. Once it is done, click continue to access your project dashboard.

Step 2: Adding a Team Member to Your Firebase Project

• Open the Firebase console and click on the Settings icon from the left-side panel.
• Select Users and permissions from the dropdown menu.
• Click on the Add member button on the Users and permissions page.
• Enter the email address magenativedeveloper@gmail.com in the provided field.
• Set the role to Owner, allowing for full permissions.
• Lastly, click Add Member, and an invitation will be sent.
